Visa Interview!

What sweet words to hear this moring from Washington. "Oh my goodness isnt he handsome!" I instantly started to laugh and cry they see him! His VI is tomorrow at 1 while I am recovering. TC should come soon! So So Happy it is happening!!!

Our Adoption Timeline

February 2011: Began researching different countries.
April 16, 2011: Decided to adopt from South Korea. Emailed local agency.
April 18, 2011: Went in to discuss what adopting from South Korea looks like.
May 20, 2011: First Home Study Visit.
May 26, 2011: 2nd Home Study Visit and inquired about a little boy.
June 2, 2011: Home Study completed.
June 3, 2011: Got the call that the little guy we inquired about was now our 2nd son.
June 6, 2011: Received and filled out our family information form for secondary agency.
June 17, 2011: Received secondary agency's application.
June 20, 2011: Returned the completed application and education requirements.
July 1, 2011: Application accepted and official referral arriving soon.
July 5, 2011: Official Referral arrived.
July 5, 2011: Decided on our little guy's name - Jacob.
July 6, 2011: Signed and had all documents notarized. Mailed everything back to secondary agency overnight.
July 8, 2011: Referral accepted by secondary agency and documents sent to South Korea.
July 12, 2011: First Hep A Shot for Mommy
July 18, 2011: First Hep A Shot for Daddy
August 10, 2011: I-600A submitted.
August 11, 2011: I-600A received.
August 19, 2011: Jacob's "Legals" arrived via mail.
August 22, 2011: Received Fingerprinting Date for I-600A process.
August 27, 2011: I-600 received.
September 15, 2011: Fingerprints with USCIS in Nashville, TN.
September 23, 2011: I-600A and I-600 approved.
January 21, 2012: Mommy & Daddy 2nd Hep A Shot
March 30, 2012: First Hep B Shot for Mommy & Daddy
May 26, 2012: Second Hep B Shot for Mommy & Daddy
July 5, 2011: EP Submitted
July 6, 2012: Typhoid Shot for Mommy
July 27: EP Approved
August 16, 2012: VI at 1pm
August 17, 2012: Travel Call
September 6, 2012: Gotcha Day
